If you’re running a laptop with two graphics cards, specifically Intel and NVIDIA, you might experience problems launching the game. If that happens:

1. Update your Intel graphics drivers

You can do this through Intel’s website or the manufacturer’s website for your laptop.

2. Force the game to use the Intel GPU

Many players who had launch issues report that this fixes it. There are two ways to do it:

Option A: Windows graphics settings (Windows 10/11)

  1. Right-click the desktop and choose Display settings, then scroll down and click Graphics (on Windows 10: Graphics settings).
  2. Click Browse (or Add desktop app) and navigate to the game’s .exe file, then select it. If you have the game on Steam, you can find the .exe by right-clicking the game in your library and choosing Manage → Browse local files.
  3. Once the game appears in the list, click it, choose Options, select Power saving (this is the Intel GPU), and click Save.
  4. Restart the game.

Option B: NVIDIA Control Panel

  1. Right-click the desktop and choose NVIDIA Control Panel.
  2. Go to Manage 3D settings → Program Settings.
  3. Click Add, select the game’s .exe, and under “Select the preferred graphics processor,” choose Integrated graphics.
  4. Click Apply and restart the game.
