If you’re having issues with The Incident at Galley House, please email your godot.log file to support@eviltrout.com. The log helps us figure out what went wrong on your computer.

Here’s where to find it on each operating system:

Windows

Your log is at:

%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\The Incident at Galley House\logs\godot.log

The easiest way to get there is to press Windows + R, paste the following, and press Enter:

%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\The Incident at Galley House\logs

The full path looks something like this, where eviltrout is your PC user name:

C:\Users\eviltrout\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\The Incident at Galley House\logs

Mac

Your log is at:

~/Library/Application Support/Godot/app_userdata/The Incident at Galley House/logs/godot.log

To get there, open Finder, choose Go → Go to Folder… (or press Cmd + Shift + G), paste the path above, and press Return.

The full path looks something like this, where eviltrout is your user name:

/Users/eviltrout/Library/Application Support/Godot/app_userdata/The Incident at Galley House/logs/

Linux

Your log is at:

~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/The Incident at Galley House/logs/godot.log

Note that .local is a hidden folder — in most file managers you can press Ctrl + H to show hidden files, or paste the path into the location bar.

Sending the log

Attach the godot.log file to your email, and include a short description of the problem and what you were doing when it happened. If you can, also mention your operating system version and your computer’s graphics card.
